Kegiatan dilaksanakan di RW 2 Desa Karanggintung Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas, Selasa (16/11/2021). Kegiatan dibuka oleh Kepala Desa Karanggintung Harsiadi, SIP didampingi kepala unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang Panji Wibowo Nurcahyo, S. ST,M. Kes.
Panji Wibowo mengatakan kegiatan melibatkan 10 dosen dan 6 mahasiswa yang membantu dalam pelaksanaan posyandu lansia.”Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan agar lansia memiliki kualitas hidup yang lebih baik melalui edukasi pola hidup sehat sehingga lansia dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatannya secara mandiri,” katanyaKegiatan meliputi senam lansia, penyuluhan kesehatan, pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar dan Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) untuk lansia. Selain itu juga penyuluhan kesehatan tentang hipertensi dan osteoarthritis sendi lutut.
